The Little Theatre – Home of Dunstable Rep

For over 80 years, Dunstable Repertory Theatre (Dunstable Rep) has been entertaining audiences and nurturing local talent.

Founded in 1945, the society began after a group of local young people staged a production of Quiet Wedding. Their enthusiasm led to the creation of what has become one of Bedfordshire’s longest-established amateur theatre companies.

Originally performing in Dunstable’s old Town Hall, the company later moved to its own dedicated venue — The Little Theatre on High Street South — where it continues to produce an exciting programme of plays, comedies, dramas and community productions throughout the year.

Today, The Little Theatre remains entirely volunteer-run, providing opportunities for actors, directors, backstage crews, designers, technicians and theatre lovers of all ages.
