Hateon BJJ | Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy

HATEON BJJ is an independent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in the heart of Dunstable, led by accomplished martial artist and head coach Hayden Wells.

Hayden brings an unusual depth of knowledge to his teaching as Dunstable’s only black belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. He is also a British Judo Council National Champion, winning gold in 2024 at his first competition as a black belt.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art built around technique, control, movement and problem-solving. At HATEON BJJ, students can develop their practical skills under the guidance of an experienced coach who continues to train, compete and share his technical knowledge with the wider martial-arts community.

Regular training is available through flexible monthly memberships, with options for two or three sessions each week. Pay-as-you-train sessions are also offered, making it easier for people to find an arrangement that suits their commitments.

Based at Maypole Yard in Dunstable town centre, HATEON BJJ contributes something distinctive to the town’s growing independent fitness and wellbeing community. It provides a dedicated local space for people who want to explore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, improve their grappling or develop their existing martial-arts practice.
